The Reds suffered the 7-2 loss to St. Louis this evening with first baseman Joey Votto providing the only offense of note for Cincy. Votto went 1-for-4 with his 11th home run of the season, good for two RBIs.

It wasn't pretty, totaling just three hits as a team on the evening, but Cincinnati managed to score runs and put the win on the board versus Philadelphia, 2-0. First baseman Joey Votto was the voice of offense, going 2-for-3 with a walk and two doubles, good for two RBIs on the night.
