The Rangers called up Joaquin Arias from Triple-A Oklahoma on Tuesday, according to the AP. Arias is regarded as one of the Rangers better prospects, although he hasn't fared all the well this year. The shortstop hit just .262 with four home runs and 48 RBI, though he did steal 26 bases. Arias will be a backup infielder.
