Royals pitcher Brian Bannister has not won a game in 12 starts, but the team thinks he has gotten better in the last eight, according to Royals.com. "When he was going through the bad streak, he had multiple bad innings and multiple bad starts. He stopped that as of probably four outings ago," Royals manager Trey Hillman said.

Once again the Royals suffered the disappointing loss, falling 3-2 to the Rangers, and once again the lack of offense leaves the pitching without support. RHP Brian Bannister was the victim this time, going 6 2/3 innings to allow three runs (two earned) on six hits with one walk and eight strikeouts.
