Donnie Murphy was activated from the DL on Friday, according to MLB.com. To make room on the active roster, Gregorio Petit was sent down to Triple-A. "Everyone knows they have a chance to get in the lineup," Geren said. "When you're playing a National League team, you could go through a whole roster."

He commented that he was feeling much better, but will wait and see how his hand feels tomorrow before deciding whether or not he would be ready to return to the field. He considers himself day-to-day.
