Street wasn't needed Tuesday, but he is likely to be a game-time decision again tonight, according to MLB.com. A team source said Street has been dealing with the ailment since June 1.

Huston Street's pitching velocity was down during action on Sunday as he was bothered by a groin injury, according to the SF Chronicle. He heavily iced the ailment, but still walked with a limp following the game. He said, "Hopefully, I'll wake up Monday better. Geren was concerned for my sake, because I could compensate and hurt my arm, but I know I can still get guys out and be effective."

Huston Street avoided arbitration with the A's on Thursday by signing a one-year contract worth $3.3 million. Street posted a 2.88 ERA and 16 saves in 48 games last year. He has the potential to be one of the top closers in the game, but staying healthy has long been an issue.
