Kei Igawa has been recalled from Triple-A Scranton, according to the AP. The team optioned Ross Ohlendorf to Scranton as an adjoining move.

Kei Igawa has been sent down to Triple-A, according to CBSsports.com. Ian Kennedy was recalled to make a start tonight, and saw Igawa as being expendable to free up a roster spot.

The New York Post reports that Kei Igawa is one and done for the New York Yankees. A reported Monday noted that Ian Kennedy - not Igawa - will start Friday in the opener of the Subway Series against the New York Mets. The team would not confirm the report.

Due to Sunday's rainout, the Yankees may be able to skip Kei Igawa's next scheduled start. The problem is that Ian Kennedy was supposed to work a Triple-A on Sunday, but his outing was also washed away, Newsday explains. At the moment, Igawa is still listed as a starter for either Thursday or Friday.

Kei Igawa is still in line to start on Wednesday against the Rays. "I don't have news that someone else is going to start," manager Joe Girardi tells the New York Post. "That's our plan." Igawa was rocked for 11 hits and six runs over three innings on Friday.
