Tadahito Iguchi has shed his right arm sling and has begun jogging. The second baseman suffered a separated right shoulder on June 5. "He's started to do some very easy mobilization with his shoulder," manager Bud Black tells MLB.com. "He can't run [pump his arms]. But he can kind of do what he's doing. He is still a ways away." Initial reports called for Iguchi to miss six-to-eight weeks.

Tadahito Iguchi was demoted from the second spot in the order to the eighth hole on Monday, this according to MLB.com. "Tad has been in a little bit of a funk the last 10 games or so," manager Bud Black said. "I got the sense he needed to take a little step back ... not put too much pressure on himself to get through this little slump. One way to do that is to move a guy down in the order."
