Tadahito Iguchi tested his sprained left ankle by hitting in a batting cage and taking ground balls on Thursday, according to the Daily Southtown. Although Tadahito Iguchi was able to take soft toss in a batting cage and ran two laps around the warning track yesterday, it's not clear if he'll return from his sprained ankle this weekend, according to the Daily Southtown. "I'm going to leave that open," trainer Herm Schneider said.

Tadahito Iguchi was out of action Tuesday due to the sprained left ankle he sustained the day before, according to the Daily Southtown. "He's going to wait two or three more days," manager Ozzie Guillen said. "(Today) we'll have a better look and see exactly how long it will be. With that injury, it's tough the next day because everything is swelled and sore."

Tadahito Iguchi had to leave Monday night's game against Baltimore after spraining his left ankle in a collision with right fielder Jermaine Dye while catching a pop fly in the fifth inning, according to the AP. Both players stayed down for several minutes before Iguchi got up and walked gingerly off the field accompanied by a trainer. He is expected to miss a couple of games.

Tadahito Iguchi sat out Tuesday's game, presumably just so Ozzie Guillen could get Alex Cintron into the lineup. Many managers try to get their bench players into the lineup the first week of the season, and Iguchi owners probably don't have anything to worry about.

I'm not going to stop doing something that worked for us last year, worked in spring training."

The White Sox will move Tadahito Iguchi back up to the No. 2 spot in the batting order in an effort to snap him out of a slump, according to the Chicago Tribune. The move could be temporary, as the team would still prefer to have him hit sixth or seventh this year.
