The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports that Anthony Reyes has been shut down for the rest of the season with right elbow soreness. "There's no sense in pushing it. He did a fantastic job. He showed us what we needed to see. We need to do everything we can to make sure he's healthy for the start of next year," said manager Eric Wedge.

Anthony Reyes will miss one more start as he is still getting over his right elbow soreness, according to MLB.com. "We'll give [Reyes] a couple days off," manager Eric Wedge said, "then have him throw a bullpen [session] early next week." The team is hopeful that Reyes will be available to pitch around September 20th.
