Shaun Marcum held the powerful Red Sox offense at bay Friday, allowing three runs on three hits and a walk while striking out eight over seven innings. The righty had just allowed one hit entering the seventh, but J.D. Drew followed a walk and a single with a three-run blast. Still, Marcum picks up the win and should be thrilled with his first outing of the year.
