Shaun Marcum received some good news Monday on his injured elbow. The righty visited Dr. James Andrews, who confirmed what Toronto had already determined, that Marcum was suffering from strained ligaments around the elbow and forearm, according to MLB.com. The injury isn't considered serious, and Andrews gave Marcum clearance to begin a throwing program as soon as Saturday.
