Melvin did note that Young could return to the leadoff spot at some point this season. Young should get more RBI opportunities batting lower in the lineup, but he also may get fewer chances to steal bases. |

Melvin said he believes Young still is a half-step slow due to a strained groin, according to the Arizona Republic. "I still don't think he's 100 percent yet," Melvin said.
