Rangers prospect Thomas Diamond will undergo Tommy John Tuesday and be sidelined for the 2007 season, according to MLB.com. "It's a setback," GM Jon Daniels said. "But this injury has a high success rate. I expect him back but he's going to miss the season. You feel for Thomas. He worked hard this off-season." The Rangers expect Diamond, the team's first-round draft pick in 2004, to be at full strength in spring training next year.
