The Mariners signed Cuban shortstop Yuniesky Betancourt to a four-year, $3.65 million deal on Wednesday, according to the Seattle Post-Intelligencer. The 22-year-old was placed on their 40-man roster and will report to spring training in February. "Yuniesky is an athletic, offensive shortstop," Mariners GM Bill Bavasi said.
