The Nationals plan to recall Jay Bergmann from Triple-A New Orleans to make a start Saturday, according to the Washington Post. Bergmann has made 32 appearances for the Nationals over the last two seasons, with all but one coming as a reliever. He was recently converted to a starter after his last demotion to the minors. In four starts for New Orleans, Bergmann is 3-1 with a 3.63 ERA while striking out 27 in 22 1/3 innings.
