Chris Britton has been recalled from Triple-A Scranton, according to CBSsports.com. The team brought him back to fill the roster spot in place of Alex Rodriguez, who landed on the DL.

Chris Britton was optioned to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Tuesday to make room on the roster for Edwar Ramirez. Britton didn't pitch in his four days with the team.

Reliever Chris Britton was called up from Triple-A Scranton on Friday and added to the Yankees active roster, this according to the New York Post.

The Yankees optioned Chris Britton back to Triple-A Scranton Saturday to clear room on their roster for Roger Clemens. Britton allowed one run, a solo homer, over five innings of action since being recalled.
