After being hit by a line drive yesterday, Jeff Karstens stayed in the game for five more pitches. It'll be the last five he throws for a while, as he was diagnosed with a broken leg. The Yankees placed him on the disabled list, and he likely will miss a considerable amount of time, though he's expected to return later this season. "I thought I could get through it," Karstens said. "Now that I found out that it was cracked, that probably wouldn't have been the best idea."
