The Cubs called up Buck Coats from Triple-A Iowa Tuesday to replace the injured Cesar Izturis on the roster. Coats was hitting .277 with six homers, 49 RBI and 16 steals for Iowa. He played mostly in the outfield for Iowa but also has experience playing all over the infield.
