Sean Rodriguez could be an option at third base while Chone Figgins is on the DL, according to MLB.com. Rodriguez has been working out at third the last couple of days and can also play short in addition to all three outfield spots. Manager Mike Sciosca said, "Third base will be an easy progression for him, but it is an important progression for any young player to make yourself as versatile as you can. You never know when opportunities are going to be there or when you're going to get a chance."
