Manny Parra was brilliant for five innings on Saturday as he held the Giants without a hit before he eventually allowed three hits and two runs in 5.1 innings. Manny Parra has earned the fifth spot in the rotation to open the season. He could be booted back to the minors when Yovani Gallardo returns from knee surgery. "We have another tough decision to make in two weeks, once the season starts," manager Ned Yost tells the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel. "We're going to have to see who's pitching good during that period, then make another decision." Parra will start against the Giants on April 6.
