Kevin Slowey wasn't anywhere near his best on Saturday but he still held on long enough to pick up his sixth win of the year. Slowey had six strikeouts in the effort, but he gave up five runs in six innings on the hill.

The Twins continue to take out the best pitchers in the NL, and on Sunday, they can thank Kevin Slowey. The 24-year-old right-hander tossed a complete game shutout against the Brewers. He allowed three hits, walked nine, and struck out eight. "He was just painting," manager Ron Gardenhire informs the AP. Slowey currently owns a 16-inning scoreless streak.

Kevin Slowey won his second straight start and the Minnesota Twins beat the Washington Nationals 11-2 Wednesday night. Slowey allowed one run on seven hits, walked two and struck out four.

Minnesota RHP Kevin Slowey suffered through a horrific day on the mound as the Twins suffered the devastating 12-2 loss to the White Sox. Slowey lasted just three innings, surrendering eight runs (all earned) on 10 hits with one walk and four strikeouts.

Kevin Slowey was magnificent on Thursday as he twirled a complete game victory over the Royals. Slowely allowed six hits, zero walks and only one run while throwing just 101 pitches, 74 of which were strikes.
