The Twins struggled to get the offense going this evening, suffering the 5-3 loss to the Toronto Blue Jays, but leadoff man CF Carlos Gomez tried his best to improve the results. Gomez went 2-for-4 with his third home run of the season, totaling one RBI on the night.

I'm telling you, I saw Kirby Puckett play. They're not going to forget Kirby Puckett. But this kid can bring a lot of good things to baseball. We need that. Baseball needs that.
