Kurt Suzuki has extended his hitting streak to eight games, according to the SF Chronicle. He generated three hits against Toronto on Tuesday, and notably scored the winning run on a Ryan Sweeney triple. His average stands at .414 over 29 at-bats, and his fantasy stock will continue to rise.

Kurt Suzuki doubled twice on Wednesday night and finished the game 2-for-3 with a run and a walk. For the two-game series, Suzuki went 3-for-8 with a run and a stolen base. The 24-year-old backstop hit only .249 in his rookie season, but he showed good pop.

Kurt Suzuki is off to a poor start as he only went 1-for-5 in Oakland's season opener against Boston, with two strikeouts. He only hit .249 over 213 at-bats in 2007.
