Todd Jones, the fourth Detroit pitcher used in Saturday's 6-4 win over the Angels, recorded his fourth save with a scoreless ninth inning of work.

Todd Jones will turn 40 today, according to the Detroit Free Press. Jones stated, " I'm 40 and still pitching in the big leagues, and that's rewarding in and of itself."

Todd Jones agreed on a one-year, $7 million deal with the Tigers on Monday, according to the AP. With Joel Zumaya expected to miss at least half of the 2008 season after undergoing shoulder surgery, Jones will serve as Detroit's closer next year.
