The Marlins have activated starting pitcher Rick VandenHurk from the 60-day disabled list. He has been optioned to Triple-A New Orleans.

Rick VandenHurk has been transferred from the 15-day to the 60-day DL, according to TSN. He has been recovering from right elbow soreness. He was initially placed on the DL May 4.
