Jo-Jo Reyes threw five scoreless innings at Triple-A, allowing only one hit and striking out six. He struggled with his control in the majors last season, but he is still likely the first man in line for starts in the minors. Of course, if Mike Hampton ever makes it back healthy, Reyes could have a tough time getting starts in the Atlanta organization in 2008.

The Braves will recall Jo-Jo Reyes from Triple-A Richmond to replace the injured Mike Hampton on the roster, according to the AP. Reyes' stay in the big leagues figures to be brief, as the team will activate Chuck James sometime next week to replace Hampton in the rotation.

"Jo-Jo had a rough day with his control and location," manager Bobby Cox said, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Reyes is trying to win a spot in the rotation but hasn't performed well his last two outings. He may end up beginning the season at Triple-A Richmond, if he can't turn it around quickly.
