Lannan, who was the Nationals Minor League Pitcher of the Year in 2007, went 2-2 last season with a 4.15 ERA in six starts for the big league club. With the uncertainty in the team's starting rotation, especially with the health of Shawn Hill, there is an outside chance that Lannan could grab a starting gig.
