Carlos Carrasco could pitch in the Futures Games on July 13 even though he missed his last Double-A start due to right shoulder tightness, the Philadelphia Inquirer reports. The injury is not believed to be serious. Carrasco, 21, is 5-7 with a 4.18 ERA over 97.0 innings.

Carlos Carrasco, arguably the Phillies best prospect, picked up his first win of the season at Double-A on Sunday. He allowed two runs on five hits in six innings and fanned seven batters.

Carlos Carrasco worked three scoreless innings against the Yankees on Sunday and has retired 11 of the 13 batters he has faced this spring. He tells the Philadelphia Daily News that he hopes to compete for a rotation spot. Carrasco doesn't turn 21 until March 21. The right-hander is almost certainly headed back to the minors, but he is making a good impression with the Phillies and with keeper league fantasy owners.
