The Yankees juggled their lineup on Tuesday in an effort to kick start their offense, according to the AP. Alex Rodriguez was moved into the second spot, Jason Giambi hit third and Gary Sheffield batted fourth. "We'll stay with it as long we're comfortable with it and it's productive," manager Joe Torre said. "We're trying to do things that work immediately."

Alex Rodriguez was used as the designated hitter last night because he still felt some tightness in his right groin, according to Newsday. He said his groin was feeling better after a night of rest. "If you put an absolute gun to my head, I'm sure I could play third," A-Rod said. "But it's probably the safest route because we have a lot of important games coming up."
