Astros C Hall to have shoulder surgery
Kissimmee, FL (Sports Network) - Houston Astros catcher Toby Hall has decided to undergo surgery to repair a torn labrum in his throwing shoulder.

Hall met with members of Houston's medical staff and Astros general manager Ed Wade to discuss options after an MRI exam revealed the severity of the problem.

"Toby and our medical staff were in complete agreement that the best way to get him healthy would be to surgically repair the shoulder, which would mean that he wouldn't be throwing for about four months," said Wade. "For the sake of Toby's future, everyone agree... More...
