Scott Schoeneweis experienced severe abdominal pain at his home in Connecticut on Tuesday, which led to him being hospitalized for six hours, according to the NY Daily News. The doctors at one point feared he was suffering from appendicitis. Schoeneweis, who said his arms turned blue for a while, guessed the illness is probably a bug going around the team. Schoeneweis' stomach was still noticeably bloated after last night's game. He had experienced waves of freezing and shaking the previous night. He said, "I've been through a lot of stuff. For me to call an ambulance, I had to be in dire straits."
