The Bulls just can't decide what they are doing. Coach Scotty Skiles plans to change his lineup once again, bumping Eddy Curry and Tyson Chandler from the starting lineup on Wednesday. Antonio Davis, Luol Deng, Othella Harrington and Chris Duhon are to move in as starters, with Andres Nocioni and Eric Piatkowski likely headed to the pines, too.
November 18, 2004
Knicks president Isiah Thomas has decided to throw Michael Sweetney into the mix as he tries to pry Eddy Curry away from the Bulls, according to the Chicago Tribune. Thomas initially rejected the idea of dealing away Sweetney, a player the Bulls are interested in acquiring.
November 13, 2004
Eddy Curry is expected to start today, even though he banged his knee in Thursday's practice, according to the Sun-Times. Meanwhile, he claimed that he had vented his unhappiness with the Bulls to his agents, who went to the papers to demand a trade -- without his knowledge. Although Bulls chief John Paxson is not actively seeking to trade the center, he is fielding offers.
November 12, 2004
Bulls head John Paxson, Eddy Curry and his agents talked last night and agreed that there will be no more requests for trades and that the Bulls will not seek to trade the center this season, according to the Sun-Times. Skeptics, however, would say they are simply removing the matter from the papers and that if Curry doesn't excel, he still easily could be dealt.
November 12, 2004
Eddy Curry has sent a request through his agents to be traded, according to the AP. "Eddy hasn't said anything to me yet," Bulls GM John Paxson said. "And I'm not going to be intimidated or persuaded by any agent that goes public and tries to do what he thinks is right for his client. I think it only hurts him and it doesn't do us any good, either."
November 9, 2004
Eddy Curry, who missed the first two games of the season while serving a suspension, returned to the Bulls lineup Tuesday night, but he was virtually nonexistent. He didn't take a shot until midway through the second quarter, and finished with six rebounds and three points.

Eddy Curry has new agents as he enters the final year of his current contract, and they have convinced him to get his collective act together, according to the Sun-Times. He weighed in at 285 pounds this week, which is where the Bulls wanted him for the start of the season. "This is the first time that I've trimmed down to 280-anything since high school," he said. "I used to come to camp to get in shape. But for the first time, I'm going to come to camp in shape. What I'm going to do now is keep working to transform more body fat into solid muscle." Only time will tell if the makeover will hold, but this sounds a lot better than earlier reports this summer that he was up to 320 pounds.
August 4, 2004
Eddy Curry has denied reports that his weight has ballooned to as much as 320 pounds, according to the Sun-Times. "The worst my weight ever got up to was 314 or 315," he said. "Right now, I'm about 307. I take the blame for letting my weight go up." Still, the Bulls would like to see him taking training more seriously and be at about 285 when training camp begins.
August 1, 2004
The Sun-Times reports that a league source said Eddy Curry is 35 pounds over the 285-pound target weight set by the Bulls. Not only is this not a good sign for his upcoming season, it may well keep the Bulls from paying him big bucks with a contract extension. They have until the end of October to work something out.
June 30, 2004
Bulls head of operations John Paxson said he has no intention of trading Eddy Curry this offseason, according to the Sun-Times. "We have received offers for Curry, [Tyson] Chandler and Jamal [Crawford]," said Paxson. "But we have received nothing worth paying much attention to.
