Player Notes
March 28, 2008
Troy Murphy returned to the lineup with a bang Friday, scoring 21 points and pulling down 17 rebounds in a win over the Nets. The forward missed Wednesday's game with strep throat. Murphy is red-hot now and should be started by everyone who owns him.
March 22, 2008
Troy Murphy continues to carry the hot hand for the Pacers, scoring 24 points with eight rebounds, two assists, and a steal. Murphy is getting his chance to show and prove as others fall to injury or apathy, and he's taking full advantage.
March 21, 2008
Troy Murphy had one of his most productive outings of the year as he pulled down 15 boards while he scored 22 points for the Pacers on Friday. Murphy was only 6-for-16 from the field, so he wasn't very efficient, but this still marked his third consecutive double-double and 16th straight games of double digit points, not bad for a player who is averaging barely 12 points a game on the year.
March 19, 2008
Troy Murphy recorded a double-double in the Pacers' 102-95 win over the Bobcats as he poured in 18 points and a game-high 13 rebounds, along with three assists and three blocks, and notably hit 3-of-4 shots from long range. That was his second double-double in a row, and his sixth of the season.
March 5, 2008
In the Pacers' disappointing 99-117 loss at the hands of the Houston Rockers, Troy Murphy served as the team's most potent threat, scoring 17 points with 10 rebounds and six assists.
February 25, 2008
Troy Murphy scored 17 points, pulled in four rebounds and dished out seven assists on Monday night. Murphy entered the game averaging 10.9 points and 6.9 boards a game for the Pacers, and unless your league awards him center eligibility, he really is nothing more than a depth play.
January 25, 2008
Troy Murphy played 23 minutes off the bench Thursday, finishing with four points and six rebounds. He sat out the previous night with a sore knee.
January 24, 2008
The Pacers were without Troy Murphy on Wednesday night due to a sore left knee, the AP reported. The same knee forced Murphy out of Monday’s game early.
