Stories of trades not made continue to surface out of the NBA, and that leads to continued rumors of trades that continue to work towards reality. Charlotte forward Gerald Wallace is the newest name on the list, apparently shopped by managing partner Michael Jordan on draft day to Toronto, according to the Charlotte Observer.

Gerald Wallace's year may be over due to a strained groin. He will certainly miss Tuesday's game against the Wolves and may shut it down after a doctor's appointment earlier in the day, the Charlotte Observer notes. "That groin muscle is bothering him. Hes going to stretch on it, work on it, and see what happens in the next four or five days," head coach Sam Vincent says. Frankly, we don't see a good reason for Gerald to return.

Gerald Wallace missed the second half of Friday's game because of a strained left groin, according to the AP. The severity of the injury isn't known at this time, but you'd have to think his status for tomorrow's game is in jeopardy.
