Dalembert is a defensive stud in the middle with an average of over 10 boards and two blocks per game, and his presence certainly changes the way that teams attack the Sixers.

Samuel Dalembert worked both sides of the floor and picked up a double-double to help his Philadelphia 76ers find a win over the New Jersey Nets, 91-87. Dalembert cleaned the boards for 18 total rebounds (nine offensive, nine defensive) with 11 points, five blocked shots, an assist and a steal.

Samuel Dalembert, who has been dealing with an injured foot, ankle and quad, started and was able to score nine points while hauling in 12 rebounds. Dalembert took just seven shots on the night, and he failed to record a single assist, so he certainly does have some limitations that need to be worked around though he can still be a solid starting center when healthy and blocking shots.

Samuel Dalembert failed to practice Tuesday for the second straight day, but he's expected to suit up tonight despite his left quad and ankle injuries, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer. "I will come early [today] for the shoot-around and see how it goes," he said. Dalembert said he feels about 70 percent, but go ahead and stick Sammy into your lineup.
