Free agents Gilbert Arenas and Antawn Jamison are both wanted back with the Wizards, according to FoxSports. "Our intent all along has been to have both of those players back and to keep our core together. And at the appropriate time, we'll sit down with both of those parties and see what we can work out," president Ernie Grunfeld said.

Gilbert Arenas is expected to opt out of his contract this summer and seek a bigger contract, the AP reports. "If I'm 100 percent, then I'm going to ask for a max," Arenas says. "If I'm not, then it's negotiation time. If I know my knee's not going to be 100 per cent, then I'm not going to sit there and say: 'I want the max.'" The talented guard has said he might take less money with the Wizards if the team also brings back Antawn Jamison.

Gilbert Arenas will have his surgically repaired left knee drained of excess fluid, beginning the process of preparing for next season, this according to the Star Tribune.
