Gilbert Arenas has agreed to a six-year, $111 million contract, this according to the Washington Post. The Wiz offered between $125 to $127 million over six years, but Arenas took less in order to help the Wizards have room to add key pieces over the next few seasons. The deal still has to be finalized once the league releases salary cap and luxury tax numbers next week. Arenas told the Post, "What can I do for my family with $127 million that I can't do with $111 million?"

We have reported that the Washington Wizards are offering free-agent guard Gilbert Arenas a max contract of six years for $127 million. We now are learning that other teams are joining that mix, namely the Golden State Warriors and Sacramento Kings, according to ESPN.com.

Gilbert Arenas will be offered a six-year, $125 million contract by the Washington Wizards, according to Yahoo! Sports. The contract offer was approved by Wizards owner Abe Pollin.
