Gilbert Arenas set a franchise record with 60 points in Sunday's overtime win over the Lakers. He shot 17-of-32 from the field and 21-of-27 from the line and also had eight rebounds and eight assists.

Gilbert Arenas had a rough shooting night on Wednesday, scoring just seven points. He missed all five first half shots from the floor and went 2-for-12 for the game. Arenas did contribute in other areas though, dishing out 11 assists and pulling down five rebounds.

Gilbert Arenas injured his groin during practice on Monday with Team USA, according to the AP. He'll miss the upcoming World Championships as a result. Arenas has a history of groin troubles, but he should be fine for training camp.

Gilbert Arenas was arrested in Miami on Saturday night and was charged with resisting without violence. Arenas' teammate Awvee Storey was arrested for failing to comply with an officer's order to get out of the middle of the street, and Arenas reportedly disobeyed orders to get back in his vehicle after he approached the officers who were arresting Storey.

Gilbert Arenas said he plans to play through his sore back until the Wiz lock up their playoff spot, preferably the fifth seed, according to the Washington Post. "We need to get some wins and get in that fifth spot so I can get some rest for the playoffs," Arenas said. "That's when you have to be at your best."
