Bobby Simmons had surgery Friday to remove a cyst from his right heel and address plantar fasciitis in the foot, according to the AP. He is expected to be sidelined for the rest of the season.

Bobby Simmons needs two surgeries on his right foot soon and will most likely be out for the season, according to the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel. A statement issued by the team said Simmons was expected to be out for remainder of the season, though Simmons is holding out some hope that he could return late in the year.

Bobby Simmons is expected to have his ailing foot examined by at least two doctors next week, according to the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel. He has been out since the preseason with a stress reaction in his right heel. "Obviously he's been dealing with this situation since camp started," Bucks GM Larry Harris said. "It's very frustrating for him. We hope to have a better diagnosis within a week to 10 days."
