Chris Wilcox is reportedly done for the season due to his sprained right pinkie, according to the Seattle Post Intelligencer. Seattle GM Sam Presti stated, "After gathering all of the necessary information, the decision has been made to rest the injury and allow for the proper recuperation and rehabilitation to avoid further damage. We are disappointed that we will be without Chris the remainder of the season but look forward to having him back healthy next year." Wilcox ended the year while averaging 13.4 points and seven boards per game.

Chris Wilcox is expected to visit a hand specialist on Wednesday, according to the Seattle Times. He has missed three straight games due to a sprained right pinkie and is questionable for Wednesday night. Fantasy owners should keep him on their benches until we have more news.

Chris Wilcox could sit out the rest of the season after re-injuring his right pinkie finger, according to the Seattle Times. "It's hard to stay away from the game you love," Wilcox said. "Our team is struggling right now. I'm a part of this. I want to help." The Sonics are obviously going nowhere, so it would make little sense to rush Wilcox back to the floor. Chris Wilcox sprained his pinkie finger during battle with Phoenix on Wednesday night, and will be questionable for the team's upcoming two-game road trip. This according to the Tacoma News Tribune. Wilcox is averaging 13.4 points and seven rebounds per game and his services will be missed if he ultimately cannot go.

He said a recent evaluation revealed that he actually has a torn ligament in the digit, according to the Seattle Times. He has the finger taped to his ring finger but still feels pain when he catches the ball and shoots. Wilcox intends to practice Sunday with the hope of playing on Monday, but he'll have to get through that session without too much pain in order to return to action.
