Carlos Boozer said Sunday that his sprained ankle was feeling better. However, he did not take part in that day's practice, according to the Deseret News. Boozer said he thought he would be able to play Monday, but realistically, he'll be a game-time call.

Carlos Boozer is hopeful that he can play on Friday against the Nuggets, according to the Salt Lake Tribune. "It's feeling better as far as basketball drills go; hopefully I can keep moving it up," he said of his return date. "I just have to be smart and listen to the leg." Boozer is recovering from a leg fracture.

Carlos Boozer will be examined Monday morning to determine whether he can return to practice that afternoon, according to the Deseret News. Boozer is recovering from a fractured left fibula. "What they (doctors) told me is once (the bone) heals (the fracture) won't come back — but you have to let it heal first," added Boozer. "So I told them, 'OK, great, as soon as my bone is together I'll jump out there.' But if I jump out there before my bone's together, anything can happen." It's not clear how soon he could play in a game, even if he's allowed to resume practicing Monday.
