Fred Jones took his physical and met his new teammates before Friday's game but didn't play, the AP reports. Jones was acquired for Juan Dixon right before the trading deadline Thursday.

The Trail Blazers have acquired Fred Jones from the Raptors in exchange for Juan Dixon. The young Blazers are a mix-and-match groups, so don't expect Jones to do much with his new squad.

Fred Jones, who was placed on the inactive list with a left calf contusion on Dec. 17, took part in full practice on Monday, according to the Toronto Star. He's expected to play tonight against the Suns.
