Mickael Pietrus could miss Sunday's game against the Lakers due to a strained groin ailment that he sustained on Friday, according to the Contra Costa Times. Pietrus has been playing well as of late and provides the Warriors with solid depth as he is averaging 7.1 points per game off the bench.

Mickael Pietrus wants to be dealt before the deadline. The small forward has seen his playing time reduced drastically since Stephen Jackson arrived last January, according to the Contra Costa Times. He averaged 13.7 points and 5.0 rebounds in 31.1 minutes per game last season before the acquisition of Jackson and has seen those numbers slip to 7.0, 3.4 and 19.7 since. Pietrus is a free agent after the season and doesn't intend on returning to the Warriors, so it seems likely that the team will do what it can to oblige his request.
