Carmelo Anthony missed Team USA's game against Uruguay on Wednesday because of a bruised right heel. The Denver Post reported the injury is not considered serious, and Anthony is expected to play on Thursday against Argentina.

Carmelo Anthony was productive in his return to the lineup Monday, finishing with 28 points, five rebounds and six assists in a victory over Memphis. Anthony only made 10-of-25 shots from the field for the night, but he added a perfect 8-for-8 from the line. Anthony had missed the previous 15 games with a league suspension, slapped on him for his role in a December brawl with the Knicks.
