T.J. Ford is under contract for at least two more years, but the Raptors may not bring him back for the 2008-09 season, the Toronto Star reports. The club is intent on signing restricted free agent Jose Calderon, who often outplayed Ford this season.

T.J. Ford helped the Raptors to cut the Magic's series lead to 2-1 thanks to 21 points and five rebounds in Game 3.

T.J. Ford will retain his starting spot in the Raptors lineup for Game 3 even after going just 2-for-17 from the field in the first two games, according to the AP. I know I havent been making shots but, as a point guard, you can still affect the game in some way, even if youre not making shots."
