This season, New Orleans Hornets forward David West emerged as a top contributor on a team that rarely failed to surprise and impress, and with their Game 5 victory sealed and their plans to advance in the Western Conference playoffs solidified, West continues to push is value as one of the more underrated players in the NBA. West shot a strong 10-of-17 from the floor and a perfect 5-of-5 from the free-throw line to score a team-high 25 points, adding seven rebounds and four assists to the cause.
