David West said on Monday he could miss anywhere between two and eight weeks as he recovers from elbow surgery, which he is slated to have Wednesday, according to the Oklahoman.

It's getting better, but it's taking a little longer than I wanted to. There is only so much medication you can take. There's still swelling, and I can't move my elbow as freely as I would like. I can't do any fast motion."
