Mo Williams will miss tonight's contest against the Pistons with tendinitis in his left Achilles tendon, according to the AP. It's unclear if Williams, who was replaced in the starting lineup by Charlie Bell, will be forced to miss any more time.

Mo Williams officially signed his six-year, $51.5 million contract with the Bucks Tuesday, the AP reports. Williams, 24, averaged career highs in points (17.3), rebounds (4.8) and assists (6.1) last season.

Mo Williams agreed a long-term contract Saturday to remain with the Bucks. He's expected to make $52 million over the next six years, according to the Milwaukee Journal-Constitution. His fantasy value should remain similar to last year, while running the point for the young Bucks.

Mo Williams appears to be close to a decision on his future. The Bucks' point guard will either accept a four-year deal worth an estimated $40 million to stay in Milwaukee, or he could opt to sign with Miami for significantly less money, according to the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel. Williams met one-on-one with Bucks owner Herb Kohl on Monday morning in Milwaukee after he spent the weekend in Miami, where he had dinner with Heat President and coach Pat Riley on Saturday. "Mo had a nice meeting with Senator Kohl, a real good meeting," agent Mark Bartelstein said Monday. "We'll see where it goes from here." Williams averaged a career-high 17.3 points with the Bucks last season.

Mo Williams has been shooting recently with no apparent signs of pain in his shoulder and according to the AP he could be back as soon as Sunday. Head coach Terry Stotts isn't ready to commit to anything yet, however. "The last two or three days have been encouraging for Mo," Stotts said. "It's been encouraging, but I'm not going to say exactly when he's going to be back."
