Ime Udoka has produced greater numbers over the past couple of games, and don't think that his coach hasn't been aware of that fact, according to My San Antonio. Hes a tough-minded young man, Popovich said. He really has a nice all-around game...For all those reasons, were giving him a few more minutes than previously.

Ime Udoka only scored 13 points off the bench for the Spurs, but in the 21 minutes he was on the court the Spurs outscored the Hornets by 28 points.

Free agent forward Ime Udoka agreed to a deal with San Antonio on Monday, the San Antonio Express-News reported. Udoka is the likely successor to Bruce Bowen after agreeing on a two-year deal worth slightly more than $2 million.
