Rookie Kosta Perovic was sent back to the D-league on Monday, this according to the San Francisco Chronicle. Perovic wasn't receiving any minutes even in the wake of some injuries on the Warriors roster. The rookie needs to play, and the D-league is where that will happen for now.

The Warriors recalled Kosta Perovic from their minor league affiliate in Bakersfield Sunday. He takes the roster spot of DJ Mbenga.

Warriors 2006 second round draft pick Kosta Perovic signed a multi-year deal with the club on Thursday, the Oakland Tribune reported. Perovic is 7-2, 240 pounds and was the 38th overall selection. Perovic will receive approximated $5 million over three years, but $1 million of that will go towards his buyout from his European club.
